I just don't want to embarrass myself

Inspired by Creed from The Office, this is my foray into blogging.  I have every expectation that this will quickly become the talk of the town and my 38 years of anonymity will come to an end.  My only goal will be not to embarrass myself, unless doing so would be funny.
